An online support service ‘Open Mental Health Somerset’ has been launched to help reduce the loneliness and isolation experienced by people with mental health problems in Somerset. It is part of the Clic online platform but there are some special features available for those in the Somerset area.
Clic is an online peer support community that exists to reduce the loneliness and isolation experienced by people struggling with their mental health. It’s free to use and gives people across the UK 24/7 access to online community support in a safe, moderated environment.

There are also friendly Discussion Forums where you can find helpful information and discuss topics that matter to you. The Clic team also run live Q&A events each month on a variety of topics, and there are lots more helpful resources on the Information & Support pages, too. Open Mental Health is an alliance of local voluntary organisations and the NHS, working in partnership to ensure that residents of Somerset get the support they need for their mental health, when they need it. Lots of things can impact our mental health, so Open Mental Health has come together to provide 24/7 support to adults in Somerset. Whatever the worry – anxiety, debt, employment, housing, low mood, addiction – they’re here to help.
